Class Curriculum and Materials:
For all the classes I teach, the curriculum is entirely digital with additional materials distributed and submitted through Google Classroom. Every day, you will need to access your account on the official PLTW site. We will distribute usernames and log-in information in the first few days of class. Your Chromebook and additional materials will be key resources for your success. Please sign up for your appropriate google classroom page as possible (contact me if you have not received a code).
How Can I Stay Connected and Be Successful in Mr. Price's Classes?
The best way to stay connected is to attend class daily at regularly scheduled class times. All classroom materials and instructions will be posted on google classroom throughout the year. Additionally, all of our curriculum materials will be accessed through the PLTW site If you ever have questions outside of our scheduled class time, just ask!! I am happy to help!!
Mr. Price's Biography:
I have been teaching for twelve great years now! I spent my first two years at a middle school in Shelton, WA called Oakland Bay Junior High. While I loved my time there, I always have wanted to live where I teach and my family and I own a home in Olympia. Fast forward 10 years and I have been here at THS ever since. I love this school, love the staff and love the students. There really isn't a better place around. I have been married to my wife (Belle) for 15 years and have three kiddos (Paxton, Norelle and Kasper). I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in Physiological Sciences and Chemistry and a master's in teaching from St. Martins University. Additionally, I am a National Board Certified teacher in Biology. In my free time, I like to stare longingly at my beautiful wife, admire the beautiful family we have created, run in embarrassingly short shorts, be outside, listen to questionable music, read books and find ways to appreciate the awesomeness of the universe through faith and science!
