I teach Multilingual English to students in grades 9-12.
Tumwater High School 4th and 5th period
Black Hills High School Homeroom and 3rd period.
This is a class for Multilingual students who need support with English. We practice reading, writing, speaking and listening. We have study time available for students to get academic support in their other classes. I love working with students and helping them reach their goals, advocate for themselves and adjust to high school in the United States.
Before starting in the Tumwater School District in September 2022, I worked with Multilingual students for six years at Capital High School in the Olympia School District. I also taught Spanish at South Puget Sound Community College, Nova Middle School and English in The Dominican Republic. I graduated from the University of Washington and completed a Master's degree in Public Administration at The Evergreen State College.
