About Me: It's my second year teaching at THS, and I'll be taking on 9th grade Honors English. I had a great first year and am thrilled to return. I've taught in two states, and also online for several years. I moved to WA from CA in 2022, but I grew up here, so it feels like home. I read constantly, and I love learning and trying new things, especially in the kitchen and at the gym. Cookies are my favorite thing to bake, and right now I'm working out at Orange Theory and can't get enough. I review the books I read on Instagram, which sometimes gets me advance copies from publishers, basically gold currency for me. I'm a mom to three teenagers in the OSD district. My professional goal is to help students become successful and accomplished adults, applying ELA skills to any pathway they choose to take.
