This year will be my 8th year teaching and all that time has been spent gloriously at THS. Being a teacher of the Social Studies is a great gig because we can take almost any personal interest of students and place it within the interconnected history or our country or world. It is my goal to make learning feel personal for each student and we focus more on the skills of producing compelling arguments using legit evidence as support than to drill memorization and recitation of dates/names/facts etc. We will do so through exploring major themes of history through primary source analysis and analyzing diverse and multiple perspectives of impactful social movements and events.

Office HoursCommunication through email is a great place to start any conversation. Additionally, meetings can be scheduled before and after school. TBird time on Thursday is another great opportunity for students to receive individualized instruction.
